Small is the New "Big" — Nanotechnology
Set for Large Market Gains
Remember when big was better? Not anymore. Next year, the U.S. government will
spend $847 million on nanotech research, building five nanoscale science research
centers. And some estimates put the nanotech market zooming to $1 trillion by
2013. Leading the way are small companies and universities, developing commercial
applications for ceramic, metal and metal oxide nano powders in electronics,
medical and semiconductor markets. |
