AFT partners with our customers to create quality components—and long-term relationships. Utilizing our MIM technology, we have manufactured superior components for the US, European, and Asian markets using alloy materials developed in our plant.

PCC-AFT has developed Metal Injection Molding (MIM) Technology for medical implant materials ASTM F-75, Ti-6-4, CP-Titanium and 316L. The mechanical properties of MIM material are better than Investment cast and comparable to wrought material. For example, the tensile and High Cycle Fatigue properties of F-75 are superior to Investment cast F-75 as shown. The microstructure of MIM F-75 is finer as compared to Investment cast.
